What Produce Do We Grow?
We currently have 3 high tunnels and a spacious outdoor garden. Our farm grows a wide range of Certified Naturally Grown veggies including:
- Asian Greens
- Other Greens including lettuce mix, kale, swiss chard, etc.
- Peas, Beans, Chinese beans
- Peppers, Tomato
- Cucumber
- Zucchini and other squashes
- Broccoli, Cauliflower
- Kohlrabi, Turnip, Radish
- And more.

What Does Certified Naturally Grown Mean?
1. CNG requires the same strict standards as Certified Organic does, including banning the use of any synthetic chemicals and requiring land cleanliness.
2. CNG, rather than being a government organized certification, is grass roots, farmer based adherence, enforcement, and certification. This allows small farms such as ours many benefits, including the ability to afford the certification, acknowledgement of our demand of highest quality produce, and peer reviewed standard adherence and accountability.
3. CNG maintains "same as Organic" strict standards on allowed and prohibited materials.
4. CNG has strict standards on seeds and transplants that are allowed.
5. You can view our Farm's CNG application, inspection, and declaration forms on the CNG website.

In addition to being Certified Naturally Grown, here are some of our other practices and farm philosophies:
* we use permaculture farming techniques.
* we incorporate biointensive practices including companion planting for pest and disease control and for flavor, along with mulch, compost, and cover crops.
* Carbon and nitrogen cycle awareness and regenerative practices.
* Ecological care including nutrient cycles (garden feeds animals who feed the gardens) and avoidance of agrochemicals including chemical fertilizers.
* We grow in permanent raised beds using no-till farming and a focus on soil health with thriving soil microorganism community.
* Some of the people we've learned a lot from include: Elliot Coleman, Jean-Martin Fortier, and Jeff Lowenfels, among many others.
* We are ALWAYS LEARNING MORE
And when you visit our farm you can see the variety of interesting tools we use, including: broadfork, tilther, wheel hoe, rolling seeder, and more! Yes, we're hand-powered!!
